Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of Apple, made an official statement at the annual business conference in Stockholm, Sweden, called Nordic Business Forum, that he managed to resell his bitcoins at the top of their value because “he was pretty tired of the hype associated with this area.” This was reported by Business Insider Nordic. According to Steve, “to conduct an experiment,” he bought a small amount of digital currency at a cost of approximately $700. “My goal was to go to places like Stockholm and visit restaurants and hotels that only accept BTC. I wanted to use only bitcoin while traveling,” Wozniak explained the reason for buying the cryptocurrency. The publication reports that after that, the world-famous co-founder of the “apple” brand resold his own digital currency at certain values that were approaching their maximum performance, for about $20 thousand. “When it [bitcoin] shot up, I said I didn’t want to be one of those people who constantly follows the numbers and worries about it. I don’t want that kind of worry in my life. One of the components of my happiness is the absence of worries. That’s why I sold, just to get rid of them,” Wozniak added. Earlier, Steve Wozniak told a story about hackers who stole 7 of his bitcoins.
