“STOP” Zcash vulnerability in the network

The developers of Zcash cryptocurrency have issued a press release announcing that they have discovered and eliminated a vulnerability in the network. Zcash has announced that a cryptocurrency vulnerability in the network allowed cybercriminals to counterfeit tokens. There is currently no reason to panic, as the bug has been fixed and the Zcash network is operating as usual. The developers believe that this critical vulnerability has not been exploited by anyone. To detect and exploit it, you need a solid knowledge of the coin’s platform. The press release emphasized: “To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker would have to have information revealed in the transcript of the large MPC protocol, which is available shortly after Zcash’s launch. Zcash has found that there is no indication of the vulnerability being exploited, and we are continuously monitoring the amount of funds in the Sprout fund and have not yet found any evidence of tampering.” The reaction of Twitter users to such a statement by the developers of the digital asset was mixed.
