Poloniex crypto exchange warns of service on February 23

The administration of the Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange has announced to all users that on February 23, 2019 at 01:00 Moscow time, the service will be suspended. On its official Twitter page, the company clarified that the suspension is directly related to technical work and will last for several hours. During this period, it will be impossible to conduct transactions with digital currency, and after the work is completed, the platform will fully resume transfer services in the normal mode. It was also emphasized: “In order to improve Poloniex’s performance, we will be conducting technical work on Friday, February 22 at 22:00 UTC. We expect this to take several hours. During this time, the exchange’s website will be offline and trading will be suspended. Your funds will be safe during the upgrade.” It was noted that the technical work will be carried out as part of a plan to improve the platform’s functioning and transfer service to the most modernized data centers. This is necessary in order to increase the level of security of trading, as well as to speed up the service of cryptocurrency exchange users. Due to technical work, the Roloniex exchange stopped trading in December 2018. On December 17, the platform went offline for several hours as well.
