It is known that Swissquote plans to launch its digital asset exchange and add steaking and stablecoin services in the first half of 2022.
“We want to have more trading of different cryptocurrencies on the platform,” said Jan De Schepper, Swissquote’s sales and marketing director.
The online bank has been trading cryptocurrency since 2017. In the beginning, Swissquote traded bitcoins and later added BCH, LTC, ETH, and XRP.
The director of sales and marketing said that the bank’s profit from digital currency investments increased by 1000% in early 2021.
Swissquote currently provides deposits on 24 digital assets. Due to the increasing demand for cryptocurrency, the bank continues to expand its staff.
