The popular Bitmain company has released an updated Antminer S9 Special Edition, which is designed for mining the digital currency bitcoin. Another delivery of this hardware is scheduled for the 2nd half of July 2019. These mining devices were sold out in just a few hours. Representatives of Bitmain wrote on the company’s official website: “Antminer S9 Special Edition is a device that has a hashing capacity of 16 Th/s and its energy efficiency is 90 J/Th”. The price of such an asset is about 351 dollars.
