Usually, flashing the device you have an area for chip overclocking, because each ashik has a reserve of power, which rests usually in the power supply of the ashik. On average it can be 10-20-30% increment to usual hashing speed, depends also on conditions where stands ashik, and whether you have immersion bath or it is on air cooling. It is also important to consider that the developer takes from your power 2-3% of the profit.

Immersion solutions

Reduced Consumption.

There is usually a “Low” mode in stock firmware of modern asycs which allows us to decrease consumption of asycs severalfold if they overheat too much, e.g. in summer. Yes, by doing that we reduce its output by cutting down terahashi, but it should be relevant for many people. Especially if you have ashiks standing in environment without cooling and ventilation systems. Using the legendary C9 ashik, if we reduce its power consumption to a minimum of 750w, we can get an economical solution of 25mh on a 1500v power consumption when pairing two of these devices. This variant is still valid today, if you have these devices we can help you to rebuild them and thus save their longevity, because in this gentle mode the chips are hardly loaded and you don’t even need dual cooler airflow.

Searching for SOLO blocks

We already wrote in our article that there are 2 types of pools, that sell power for your terrahes, and the second where you can find a block by yourself and get a reward, or share it with other participants of the pool. “Mining in Solo” only with your own devices we can use so-called PPLNS pool. This option is suitable if you already have 10+ devices, and enough power that would be enough to find entire blocks. Really, here everything depends on your luck (there is even a percentage at pools), but when you find a whole block, the reward will be great. It makes no sense to mine bitcoin solo, so we consider Equihash and other coins. For example, for whole block of Zcash you will get 12.5 reward, and if you will catch some blocks, that is very possible (network is not so loaded as btc), then with good price you will get great profit!
