The device consists of 162 chips using the 16 nm process technology. Asik allows mining digital currency using the SHA-256 algorithm, where the most popular coins are bitcoin (BTC) and bitcoin cash (BCH). Depending on the pool and the selected coin for mining, the hashing speed can range from 10 to 10.5 TH/s. The performance is provided by 162 chips manufactured on 16 nm process technology. The powerful APW3+ Bitmain power supply consumes about 1.4 kWh.

Asic review

There are two coolers inside that cool the components and protect Asik from overheating. The rotation speed of the coolers can reach 6000 rpm. The noise level reaches 75 dB. Asik can be used to mine such coins as Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Classic (BXC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Bitcoin Gold (BTG). With the help of custom firmware, the device can be overclocked up to a maximum of 16 Ths.
