Bitmain Antminer S17e 64 TH/s ASIC
The developer has expanded its 17th series of mining equipment with a new model featuring a hash rate of 64 TH/s. It can be used to mine cryptocurrencies based on the SHA-256 algorithm: Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). The ASIC is built on 7 nm chips. It features an improved cooling system, with coolers that quickly dissipate heat. When you purchase the ASIC, you receive a 30-day warranty from the store (180 days from the manufacturer from the date of manufacture). The company has developed powerful BM1397 chips using TSMC’s 7-nm FinFET technology. To prevent overheating, each hash board is equipped with heat sinks that actively remove and dissipate heat. The cooling system consists of 4 coolers.
Why Choose the Antminer S17e: A Comparison with Competitors
The closest competitor to Bitmain’s ASIC is the Whatsminer M21 from MicroBT, with the following specifications: hash rate – 30 Ths, power consumption—1,800 Wh, and energy efficiency -48 JTh. The new Antminer S17e outperforms its competitor, as its specifications reach the following values: hash rate – 64 Ths, power consumption – 2,880 Wh. The Whatsminer M21 is based on 12-nm chips, while the Bitmain ASIC uses new chips manufactured using a 7-nm process. Their advantages include reduced heat output and high efficiency during mining.
