Iranian government makes mining legal
In order to mine cryptocurrencies without breaking the law, you need to have a license issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Hassan Rouhani, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran, has made mining legal in his country. This was reported by a news agency called Mehr. Since then, cryptocurrency mining has been a separate legal industry.
In Iran, legal mining of digital assets requires a license from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade. Cryptocurrency mining should be taxed. In addition, entrepreneurs who transfer a certain percentage of their revenue abroad will have additional benefits.
In Iran, the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency is prohibited. N. Hakimi, the deputy governor of the central bank, recently stated that such strict rules are needed to comply with anti-money laundering requirements and to prevent the financial support of terrorism.
